In a peaceful galaxy, a new technology has been invented: wormholes. They allow ships to warp from one point to another, and open up countless possibilities for commerce and travel. As the captaion of a passenger spaceship newly equipped with a wormhole fabricator, you can make some serious space bucks by building a robust network of wormholes. Link the farthest reaches of space while delivering passengers to become the most successful captain in this golden age of spacefaring. It’s time to bend space and go fast. Players collect passengers from planets, each of whom have specific destinations they aim to reach. However, this pick up and deliver can be quite different once you establish wormholes between different points of the galaxy.

I was introduced to this game at a convention (dice tower east) and enjoyed it so much, I had to buy it. It came on sale over Prime day and I got it shortly after. Since then, it has hit the table several times with new players and veterans loving the theme and games play. It may sound odd just taxiing passengers across the galaxy with any hit of combat, but war is not missed and strategically laying out you wormholes makes a difference. This is a light game and plays in 30-45 minutes (60 for teaching games or if someone is really into (over) thinking). Set up is easy and game play (turns) are quick.

My family has had a lot of fun with this game. It does not take too long (30-45 minutes usually) so we are able to play it 2 or 3 times in a sitting. Found game Plat slightly difficult to follow the first time, but realized the answer to all questions by the end of our first game. Would recommend this game.

We played this game in a board game cafe and immediately purchased it. I would say ages 8 & up can enjoy this game if you have a bright kiddo. Everyone at the table had a great time. Even though it is a competitive game, it is in no way cutthroat. And because the things others do on their turn can you earn you points, everyone is constantly engaged. There’s none of that “sit around bored while you wait for your turn.” I definitely recommend adding this to your collection.

This game plays great for 2 to 5 players. It is easy to learn and to teach. It plays quickly and easy to setup and tear down. I love the table presence of this game! I highly recommend this game as a great way to introduce new players into hobby games.

There’s a lot of cool interactions with this game. It seems like a really complicated game at first but once you understand the core mechanics and how to abuse wormhole placement, the game becomes a competitive mental strategy game and I love it. It’s a fantastic boardgame and I couldn’t rate it more highly. Great game.

At first glance, I thought this would be a bit of a pain. Lots of rules, takes weeks to get the hang of the strategy. Basically, a rip-off of Civ.I was wrong. The rules are simple (maybe slightly too simple). The game sets up quickly, and things heat up right out of the gate. You have two jobs. Job 1: create wormholes between planets – hopefully being the first at each particular planet. Job B: deliver passengers between planets.Hopefully, you manage to do a bit of each before the game ends, which can happen rather abruptly. You *are* guaranteed 3 more turns after the last planet gets worm-holed, but 3 turns isn’t a lot when the wormholes are in the wrong places, and your ship is nowhere near where any of your passengers want to go.As a bonus, the modular nature of the board guarantees a different galactic layout for each game.We played 3 games in a row, and could have played more. Looking forward to the next free evening.

Nice game for a board game night with family and friends.
Wormholes board game is a not complicated easy to learn game for single or multiplayer table top gamers. The game is not complicated and is just thinkie enough to keep you interested. The game can be played in less than an hour for a few players and a little longer for more than 4 players. We have played this game several times and is a go to game for a quick activity when we don’t have a lot of time to spend. The components are sturdy and I would recommend this one for anyone looking to add a new game to their collection or looking to start one.
