The pictures on the cards are so bold and clear in comparison to some of the other editions of this game, namely the Harry Potter version. It makes it both easier to see and make clues for these, while not necessarily making the game itself easier. I’m a huge Simpsons fan and played this with a mix of other fans, casual viewers and people who had no level of familiarity with the show, and we all agreed that we liked using these cards best. I didn’t expect this to surpass the Disney version as my new favorite. The only disappointments are that the teams aren’t Itchy and Scratchy like initially advertised, they are Bart and Homer. Also, previous versions of this game have come with little resealable pouches to store the cards in so they aren’t loose in the box, this version did not. Neither of these are enough to make me want to dock a star, but I felt they might be worth noting.

This Simpsons game is really great! I had never even heard of Codenames but was looking for a cool Simpsons game to give my husband for our anniversary. Takes a few minutes to understand the directions, but easy to set up and so much fun! We played with our 5 year old daughter who has never seen the Simpsons and she had a blast too. Great for fans of the show but will delight and entertain anyone.

There’s not a ton to say about this one, if you know Codenames this is a nice theming of it that will satisfy Simpsons fans. If you’re a Simpsons fan and not necessarily into board games this is an entertaining party game. You only have to be casually knowledgeable about the show to enjoy it.

Even if you are not a Simpsons fan (we absolutely are though) this version of codenames is still very playable. If you are it makes codenames that much more fun

This is an awesome game, perfect for the big Simpson’s fan. Can play with two players, but it is recommended to play with more, at least 8. Will be an awesome party game! Doh!
