Lonri –
I was concerned this game would be too complex and become boring but it’s an absolute blast! Played this with my boyfriend and we had to have a rematch. We played in underage wizard mode, varying game length times, and there’s just so much to do. The battles are exciting, the quests bring nostalgia and each character you play feels unique because of their passive abilities (Harry lowers enemies defense by one, Hermione can dodge an enemy ability once per battle, etc). We played through missions, did exams, duel each other, travelled around locations, so much fun and it’s just scratching the surface because we haven’t played Quidditch yet nor tried the advanced wizard mode nor the mode against Voldemort!I highly recommend it for adults that are fans of Harry Potter or that just want to have fun playing a game that almost feels like a sandbox rpg adventure.50 points to Gryffindor!

A lot more than I expected. I would definitely recommend to any Harry Potter fan. My 15 Yr old son bought this and loves it. The game mechanics are very good s well.

A beautiful game, good quality. Quite complicated to play though.

Well made and looks fantastic. A shame about the typos and some instructions were not translated from French. Also a shame I don’t have a degree in alternative astro bio-physics to work out actually how to go about playing it from using the instructions. Very infuriating for my 12 yr old! This will be a VERY long year at Hogwarts.

We bought this for our ten year old grandchild and they brought it up with them to play together for the first time. She got bored as her mum and I tried to work out how to play it. I don’t think she could have worked it out in her own.We found the instructions confusing and it took ages to work out how to play especially with a bored child waiting! However, it has the potential to be amazing! We can see that it will be a great game when we work out how the cards work and how the boards link.Worth buying despite the working out. Maybe that was just us!
