The game takes place over several building rounds. During a building round, you’ll take turns designing your own Japanese style gardens. The number of building rounds is determined by the number of players and is noted on the score board.
For each object type, there is one bonus tile that earns players extra points. Each bonus tile for an object type is awarded to the first player who places a garden tile with that object on the fifth layer.

Easy to learn
This game was very easy to explain as I am the one that usually has to teach the games. First game was 4 players and everyone enjoyed the easya nd quick gameplay.

Fun game but poor quality player boards
The game is really simple and can be learned in literally minutes. It’s fun and not overly complex, which is great. My only complaint is that the player boards are literally just a piece of cardstock, and it feels like they really cheaped out on it. Everything else is high quality so I don’t know why they did this. I think it would have been perfect if they were made of cardboard like everything else.

Very relaxing…though can be stressful lol
This is such a wonderful and relaxing tile-laying, puzzle, strategical game! I love playing with my mom. As sweet as the game sounds it can also be mean if you let it be, by taking the tile you know your opponent wants, though there are times when you’ll have no other choice but to take the tile. Very good game!

BeautifulYou won’t regret buying this game. The base play of it is interesting enough but it has special modes you can play with too. Verg relaxing and mentally stimulating at the same time. Beautiful game and mechanics.
