The worst of the Tiny Epic games. Not really a game, not really tiny. Just basically pushing meeples around 4 different cards, no strategy or gameplay required as you can win every time without any effort.

What a game! A
First off, I love Tom at Dice Towers but his review of this game was not at all a fair one! He gave other games from this game company far better reviews that i felt was far worse. This game has it all. It is excellent as a co-op game. They did a fine job on the pcs and product over all. Players basically form a world and then pick a enemy. I found it much more fun to pick the epic enemy blindly so it became a surprise to everyone. I recommend not looking through the epic foes when you get the game. It really takes away from the surprise in fact don’t even look at the dire enemies. When you draft the decks be sure to just add blindly the dire enemies at random instead of picking and then placing and then shuffling. The rules to this are super easy to understand and follow through. Setup is a breeze and if you are stuck just watch Rhado video on how to play through the game. One the things me and my game team loved to do with the game was every time we sat down to play we made sure that the epic enemies we have fought before are not in the next game so we don’t draw the same enemy. This makes it exciting when we set down so we have no idea who we fight next. The game designer has a gold mine here for a game. They could potentially keep adding expansion packs with new dire enemies, treasure cards and skill cards. Btw you need to buy the expansion pack dark wars. I don’t normally go for expansions to games but in this one its a huge bonus to have it. So if you buy it splurge and get dark-wars as well you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this game.

Fun game, but challenging!
Very high quality material, i’m impressed with what you get in such a small box. The characters you can choose from are awesome – each has their own special action. It’s simple to set up and easy to learn. However, not easy to beat! I played this game with 2 other players, it was slow the first round but then it starts to pick up. The game play is a bit different, much of the strategy seems reactive. But I imagine that changes over time once you’re familiar with the cards and overall game. I also played solo mode, which was super fun! All in all, great game, great replay ability and definitely challenging!

A Clever Fantasy Game in a Small Box
When I first got the game I was struck by the small size of the box, but that is a large part of what made the game appealing to me. I wanted a game that was more portable than some of my other board games. The next thing that struck me was the beautiful artwork on the cards. All of the cards, even the back of the cards, look fantastic! Then there are the meeples. These aren’t ordinary meeples, they have holes in the arms to insert weapons, shields, etc. These tiny insert-able artifacts aren’t necessary for game play because you already have artifact cards, but they make the game more fun. And finally, the game plays really well with its solid and simple mechanics, and the difficulty is easily to scale.

Outstanding game- great for solo play
Wow! I did not expect this game to so good. Man it is fun. A great strategic co-op game for 1-4 players. This game has made into our weekly rotation and man it is so good that some nights we just play this all night long. Great game. Easy to learn, easy to setup, with lots of replayability. Highly recommend.

Fun and easy to learn for the family
Easy to learn, great replayability. I enjoy the solo play feature. Small and compact for easy travel. The rules for solo are on the last page. Bottom line, you play 2 handed.
